Give your child confidence and skills

Our daughter Amanda has dyslexia. Through her school when we lived in Illinois, we found the Barton Tutoring and Spelling System.

Amanda attended tutoring for three years, starting around age 9. It rebuilt her confidence. We moved to Ohio. We want to provide that same boost for children in Ohio through the Chili Learning Center, so every Ohio kid can love reading.

Now grown and attending college, Amanda is thriving. Watch her story...

The Ohio Dyslexia Center (Chili Learning Center) uses the facility of Kids America in Coshocton and has been helping children read and thrive since 2015. We use the Orton-Gillingham approach (also known as OG or structured literacy) with the Barton Reading and Spelling System and Neuhaus Education Center, utilizing the latest scientific methods. This multi-sensory tutoring rewires the dyslexic brain through tutoring 2 to three times a week.

Our tutors can also do tutoring electronically through the internet from the comfort of your home.
